The Wellesley Community Children's Center is a private, nonprofit corporation that was founded in 1971 to provide child care services to families. It offers after-school and infant toddler programs. The organization operates an early childhood program that fosters individual development of children. Its After-School Program is an enrichment and recreational program that involves children in various large and small group activities. In addition, it allows children to participate in a variety of club activities, such as drama, sports and games, visual arts, music, and nature and science. The center administers the Upstairs @ the Middle School program, which is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office for Child Care Services (OCCS).
