what a disappointment after being there several time over the past eight years.
My father was in Oak Hill Hosp. we stpped in nellies for brunch only to be met by a server that nver had a smile, never told us about the menu specials nor did she walk us through any recomendation on what we wanted.
Imagine my surprise when i received a bill for two in the amount of $30.18! !!!
I was charged $5.18 for a small glass of chocolate milk!!"!!
When i commented about it when seeing my bill the cashier shrugged and said. . " a lot of places charge $2.99 for a coke". I told her i could have bought two gallons of chocolate milk for that and I do not eat where i have to pay three dollars for my drinks.
I could have eaten at the local steakhouse for under thirty bucks!!!!! NEVER AGAIN. !!!!!!

If I could rate it a 0, I would. Horrible service, unfriendly wait staff, dirty bathrooms, and mediore food at best. Had a terrible experience. Save yourself the hassle and drive south on US 19 to the Cracker Barrell.

Don't waste your time. The restaurant smells moldy and the food is average. The breakfast i.s the safest thing on the menu

I travel up and down US 19 frequently and have always wanted to try Nellies. My husband and i dined there Sat. Oct.10 around 6:30. We should have gotten a clue when there were few cars in the parking lot. The personnel left much to be desired. Not very friendly. My husband and I both got the seafood platter. It was without a doubt the worse plate of food I have had in a very long time. It was way overcooked,too much breading and no taste except the breading. When we had almost completed our meals the waitress finally came around to see how we were doing. Too late by then. We told her our complaint to no avail. When we paid the $30 for our meals we told the cashier also. Also didn't really seem to care. Needless to say that was the first and last time we will ever stop at Nellies. How in the world you have been in business for 17 years is beyond me. Sylvia Secrest
