We were members of this wonderful church for over 10 years until we moved away from the area. The pastoral staff and the members were the hands and feet of Jesus, to my family and we have searched high and low, to find another Bible-preaching church like Victory. It was the best church we’ve ever attended and we miss worshiping Christ there- and He was always there. We pray God continues to bless this church and the wonderful families who attend there!

Victory is church to avoid for any Christian who does not care to be dominated by an authoritarian hierarchy and a legalistic mindset. The pastor lives lavishly ($100K / yr., large mansion, new cars, paid vacation every six weeks) and works little. See my article: "Why I Left Victory Baptist Church" by Jerry D. If you believe that loyalty ought to be to Bible principles and not institutions or people, Victory Baptist Church & Pastor Charles Wetherbee are not the place for you. This is also a church that has covered up and lied about adultery.
