Granite State Communications is involved in price fixing and selectively overcharging certain consumers.
My complaint has to do with quality of service, overcharging for substandard services, as well as not complying with commitments. Fours years ago, GSC deployed new internet service to my neighbors about .75 miles away. At that time My neighbors receive 100MBPS Internet speeds for $129.95 per month as compared to me. I receive 7MBPS for $129.95. For the last 4 years I have been told that they will get me connected as soon as possible. I work from my home, and use the internet as my primary mean of income. Over the years my company has questioned why I pay so much for internet, and still barely be able to complete my job functions due to lack of connection quality. Back in the spring my company gave me an ultimatum, either resolve the connection issues, or rent space somewhere else that I could get quality connection.
