Excellent- not only in price, but service. Their alterations were on point and friendly service in beautiful downtown Waynesboro makes them the best dry cleaning destination in Augusta County.

The best way to gauge customer service isn’t when things are going right. It’s the level of service you receive when things go wrong. I moved away from this area many years ago and prior to last week the last time I was in Augusta Cleaners was probably to rent a tux for a Prom. But last week I had the need to have a suit altered and cleaned here. I took it over to Augusta Cleaners where a very nice lady fitted me for the alterations, finished them before she had promised, and sent the suit in for cleaning.



During the cleaning process a piece of machinery malfunctioned and the suit jacket was ruined. If this would have happened in the city where I live I would have to argue endlessly with the cleaners to agree on some kind of fair resolution. Lucky for me I was dealing with Augusta Cleaners. The owner, Alice called me immediately and told me what happened. Next, and without me suggesting a resolution, she offered an extremely generous solution. When I hung up the phone I couldn’t quite believe it. After making some calls in order to find a replacement, I called Alice the next day to verify her offer. It was real.



Augusta Cleaners really came through for me. 100% generous, 100% hassle free, and 100% reliable. Much more than fair and certainly more than I expected. All of that and I’m not even a regular customer! It’s rare to find this level of service these days but it lives at Augusta Cleaners.



I don’t usually write reviews but the least I can do is take a moment to share their awesomeness with you. Since I don’t live here I can’t become a regular customer, but I hope that this review will prompt others to become regular customers. They deserve it. Thank you again Alice and Augusta Cleaners for turning my lemons into lemonade!
