This is one of the best collisions shops I've been to. Not only do they do collision work they also do classic car restorations. If the parts aren't available for your vehicle, they have the ability to fabricate a match. That kind of craftsmanship is almost a lost art these days. For restoration work, Gene can make your nice classic driver look amazing within your budget. A nice restoration can take more than a year unless you have an unlimited budget. If you've been watching those TV shows with million dollar budgets, you may have different expectations for your project. Gene can also give you a show quality restoration as long as you can be realistic on time and budget. Let's face it, if you're not paying the entire shop's costs like a TV show does, other projects will be in the shop at the same time. Give them a call or stop by for an estimate. Cool guy!

Expert repair and painting

My 2007 Jeep required extensive mechanical repair and body restoration, Gene at Canton Collision did the work himself and a fine job he did! Expert all the way around, was timely, and the cost unbeatable. Highly recommend. Also is expert in classic car restoration, has towing available.

Car went in September//December still in... No hope of getting back just get excuses. already cashed insurance claim so I guess he doesn't have to give it back. Can't understand why he is still in business.~Emilie

I had taken my car to canton collision to repair a rear end collision in March of 2016. Gene had told me that the repair would take 1 1/2 weeks to complete. I gave Gene 1/2 the money upfront to start the repair etc. It is now September of 2016 and the car is still torn apart...I have visited the shop at least 9 times over the course of the past 6 months as Gene doesn't answer the phone when I call to get an update nor does he return messages. He has acted as if he is doing me a favor by even discussing the status of my cars repair let alone doing any work on it. He continues to give the excuse of being short staffed as why he can't complete my repair, yet every time I visit he is working on some other car or painting gym equipment. When I ask when he will finish the repair, he says he doesn't know...at this point I am doubting if he will ever complete this repair. I have filed a complaint with both the Better Business Bureau as well as the Secretary of State. Avoid this shop!
