Amazing tree work, and I have hired a few. This 2-man team, James and his young grandson, are easily worth $300 an hour. And they show up with half a million dollars worth of heavy equipment, bucket truck and chipper truck, that ought to rent for $2,000 a day. James can even strap on spikes and climb with his chain saw, if needed. They made short work of my 2-acre yard that was already the best in MetroWest and is far better now. I highly recommend them. I saw a few negative reviews that were, IMO, churlish. Trust me: You can't go wrong here.

English Tree is professional, prompt and tidy. Have used them on several locations in several local towns. Never had any complaint about his workmanship. No matter how many trees it is the service is the same high quality.

I've used this company twice to remove trees, and both times I've been pleased with their work. They know what they are doing, and do it well. They did what we agreed, the way we agreed it should be done, and for the price we agreed. They do an exceptional job cleaning up after themselves. I will hire them again.



A sharp contrast to another local company beginning with "L" that removed a neighbor's tree that fell in our yard. "L" left the stump nearly a foot above the ground and a mess for me to clean up -- branches, boards, coffee cups. They could have asked for my business too, as the tree they removed broke two of mine. The didn't, sparing me the opportunity to turn them down. After my first experience with James English, I called him without hesitation.

I would recommend James English Tree Service to anyone looking to get some tree work done. They took down around 20 trees for us, chipped it all, carted it off and ground the stumps in addition to some other trimming work. They worked quickly and efficiently all day long for several days to complete the project and their cleanup of all the fallen branches and waste was great. Pricing was fantastic and the owner was on site each day running the show. I'd recommend them to everyone for jobs small or large.

Competitive prices, on-time, always professional and did an excellent clean up (left yard cleaner than we they came!). They took a huge tree down one day and I had them come back the next for some smaller jobs.
