If I could give no stars I would. Awful customer service treated my brother and my mother very poorly. Not sure if it was because we are "of color" or "half breeds" or they just didn't like us. Said that the work done on my brother's saxophone was terrible and he must have neglected it. Well guess who did the work? They did. So they repaired it incorrectly the first time. Then decided it was okay to be ugly to my mother and brother when it was asked why they didn't repair it correctly? Honestly there was no reason to be ugly towards my mother who paid for a service and regardless wanted other service done. We will no longer be doing any business with this store since obviously they cant repair an instrument right and cant seem to look pass someone's physical appearance.
Like other have said just take your instrument somewhere else to be serviced.

DO NOT RENT AN INSTRUMENT FROM THIS BUSINESS. We rented a saxophone from Elllis County music for my son to begin playing for beginner band. Within the first weeks of school the band director at my son's school realized the sound was off and sent the instrument back for repairs. Obviously, the instrument was not looked at properly before being sent to the school for my son to begin playing. Fast forward to June we took the sax in for a check up a for the summer and the technician said we had about $70 in damages that we were responsible for. Later that day I called to speak with the so called "president" of the company Tim and told him my concerns and let him know I wanted an itemized statement for the repairs and documentation of what was repaired the beginning of the school year. Got to the shop later in the day and he itemized right in front of me and it added up to $70 even. When I asked to see the record of repair from the beginning of the school year he couldn't come up with anything because they conveniently just switched systems and had no access to those records. I told him I would be happy to pay for any damage my son cause but would not pay until I saw record of what they repaired in the beginning to insure I was not paying for problems the instrument had from the get go. He relentlessly tried to get me to pay the money even though he couldn't come up with any documentation. Very, very bad business going on there

My daughter is in a local school band and I took her instrument here for repair. I was told to call back on Monday to talk to the guy who fixes the instruments for an update. When I called to check on the instrument, the guy was very rude to me telling me that my child had dropped her instrument causing damage that was not there when I dropped it off. He was so rude that I asked to speak with the manager and he promptly told me that he was the person over repairs and no I couldn't talk with anyone else. Then he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a guy up front. I asked if I could speak with the owner or manager and he said no one was there. He then preceded to attempt to take up for the repair guy even though I had not mentioned my issue to him. When I went in to collect the instrument, they both tried to prevent me from speaking with the owner. Needless to say, the way they treated me as a customer forever turned me off. I will NEVER do business with them again. I now go to Lancaster Music where I feel like my business matters and is appreciated.
