On a historically cold day complete with national weather service warnings to stay inside due to subzero temps and wind chill ll I called Aspen because I could not get my garage door to close. When I reached an answering machine I hung up without leaving a message. I called another place equidistant from my home and got another answering machine. I called Aspen back and left a message. I received a call back shortly from Phil. He had me describe the problem and asked me a few questions. He gave me something to try to fix it myself. I tried it but no success so I called back. He came over within an hour and fixed the problem (off track cables and broken rollers) in under 2 hours. He also improved upon the work of the previous installer who had neglected to lubricate the hinges so that the door made a screeching sound every time it moved. Now it is nice and quiet. The price was super reasonable, and the fact that he even came over on this frigid day in the first place impressed me beyond measure. This was a day when schools were closed, many businesses were closed and mail delivery and sanitation services were suspended! I cannot recommend Aspen and Phil more highly. This is definitely where I will go for any garage door work in the future. So grateful I found them!

I monkeyed around a few times with another garage door place before I called Aspen. Wish I'd have called them first! The first place just kept replacing broken springs every year and told us we "needed to get a new door". The guy from Aspen told us our existing 60-year-old wooden garage door was fabulous - that we'd never find another one like that - and told us the reason the springs kept breaking is that they were way too light for our door, which he guessed weighed upwards of 400 lbs. He special ordered us some heavy-duty springs and they're still going strong after 10 years. We also called Aspen when we had to replace our garage door opener a few years back. They're very professional, honest, and reasonably-priced to boot. I'd never think of calling anyone else.

Great service. When a cable broke on my garage door over a Holiday weekend I thought it would be a big hassle to get it fixed. My husband called Aspen Friday evening and they said no problem. Pat came out right away Saturday morning and fixed it at the regular rate. He was very prompt and the fee was very reasonable. Thanks for making our 4th of July weekend easy and enjoyable!
