Founded in 1963, the Waukesha Training Center provides vocational rehabilitation training and employment opportunities to people with disabilities. Its vocational programs are designed to develop a worker s job skills, confidence, independence, work readiness skills and positive work habits. The center provides local business with a range of contracted services, such as packaging, labeling, mailing, drilling, woodworking, industrial recycling, office cleaning and lawn maintenance. Its food service training program prepares individuals for careers in the food service industry, providing training in the areas of food preparation, catering, dishwashing, baking, customer service, bussing and cleaning. The Waukesha Training Center is located in Waukesha, Wis.
