Terry Anderson founded Omni Tech Corporation in 1978. The business focused on patented designs of environmental and security enclosures for the personal computer market. In 1985, the company offered personal computers to customers in education, corporate and government environments. It added a separate business unit, Dedicated Computing, to focus on the needs of original equipment manufacturers. The strength and growth of this division led Omni Tech Corporation to divest itself of the end-user division in 2003. Omni Tech Corporation operates exclusively as Dedicated Computing. It provides computer products and services solutions tailored for original equipment manufacturers. A range of compute engines are manufactured, serviced and supported, including servers, workstations, single board computer platforms and embedded computing solutions. Full-system service levels are provided, which includes third-party components, such as add-in computer boards, operating systems, application specific software, monitors, external devices and cabinetry.
