I spent a lot of money at this place trying to get my car fixed. Too much in fact, more than I care to admit to because I'm embarrassed by it. My fault really, I should have never allowed these people to con me into thinking I was a friend of theirs. But that's what crooks do right? They con people, they smile in your face and offer a whole lot of friendly talk and persuasion and you just want to believe them and then you do. Next thing you know, the only thing that's really changed is the amount of money you had in the bank and your car is not only still not fixed but actually runs just a little worse than it did before you took it in. And while we're on the subject of not being fixed, every so-called repair I had performed at this shop always came with some sort of issue that would involve me having to take the car back to the shop so they could take three days to fix something that in my opinion should have been done right to start with. I'm at the point now where I'm thinking this was deliberate. You know, keep me coming back over and over, suggestive selling and finding other things wrong, stuff like that. And with me being the trusting type and also the sort of person that likes to give others the benefit of the doubt, I believed them. I genuinely thought they were trying to help, I thought they were different but as of right this very moment I feel as though I couldn't have been more wrong. I can't say I'm much surprised either, I have never met an honest mechanic and I don't think such a thing even exists. But even still, even after I had that inner monologue going off inside my head telling me to just walk away, find someplace else, etc. I still wanted to give them a chance. I spoke with the owner, his wife, a mechanic, another mechanic and could never achieve anything even near satisfactory. In summary I really regret having done business with this place and would advise other against doing so.

This family-owned and operated business is WONDERFUL! It's such a blessing to have a place we not only really trust, but we love catching up with these folks. They are incredible.

We have been customers of Watkinsville Service Center for almost 12 years. Not only have we received outstanding mechanical service on our vehicles, but also outstanding customer service. We cannot say enough good things about Darcy and Kathy LaPlante, but also about the entire staff. As a woman I really appreciate the courtesy, respect and honest dealings I have experienced. We are leaving Georgia shortly. I know we will miss Watkinsvile Service Center.
