Athens Digestive Healthcare Associates (ADHA), more commonly referred to as Athens Digestive, is honored to have been able to serve the delightful patrons of Northeast Georgia since opening its doors in 2015. ADHA was joined in 2016 when Athens Digestive Endoscopy Center (ADEC) became operational bestowing a state-of-the-art surgical endoscopy center and the first of its kind in Oconee County. We offer a full range of consultations and procedures for the care of digestive disorders and problems in the gastrointestinal (GI) system. We are especially geared toward prevention and early diagnosis of GI cancers which include colorectal cancer screening procedures such as colonoscopy and surveillance of other precancerous medical conditions including but not limited to Barretts esophagus and intestinal metaplasia of the stomach. The goal as it has always been is to treat each patient as an individual with unique GI or Liver concerns.
