I brought 15 friends to this restaurant while on vacation. I was never so sorry in my life. The waitress was excellent, the manager was a jerk and obnoxious. I complained because some members in our party were served 40 minutes after the rest were served. His reasoning was that we did not order at the same time. BUT WE DID, HE did not fail to charge each party 18% gratuity because We were a group.

I complained about that also, to no avail. The resturant was DIRTY, at 6 p.m. many of the salad bar dishes were empty (no soup whatsoever - waitress remarked that she only had two hands when I requested soup). Overall rating 0 stars - will never return to any ponderosa & I will tell members of our motor home club (126 in Ct.) 4,000 around USA never to go to any Ponderosa ( I am an Officer in Club).

my friend and I were in watertown n.y. yesterday where

we ordered the chicken monterey We were disappointed

as both of the chicken was overcooked dry and burnt portion was very small, like a child was ordering. I will have to stick to the buffet. At least that way I can pick and choose. 03/24/10
