Similar to medical doctors, all chiropractic doctors must attend undergraduate school before completing the doctorate degree required to practice in their specialty. Dr. Kuhn's education extends far beyond those requirements. In addition to his Bachelor of Science degree from Regents College, and his Master of Science degree from Purdue University, Dr. Kuhn is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, considered to be the "Fountainhead of all chiropractic".He has hundreds of hours of post graduate training in orthopedics, biomechanics, chiropractic philosophy, training in accident reconstruction, disability and impairment rating, peer/utilization review, as well as a certification in care for whiplash and spinal trauma. Dr. Kuhn's education and passion for his profession have made him a popular instructor at local colleges, and at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he has taught at the post graduate level and has served as a preceptor overseeing intern training. In addition to his chiropractic degree, Dr. Kuhn completed his post graduate neurological training through the prestigious Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, earning his board certification in Chiropractic Neurology. He is one of only four doctors in Iowa who are recognized with an active status of certification given by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB). Dr. Kuhn also has completed subspecialty training in electrodiagnosis from the Carrick Institute and National University of Health Sciences passing both written and practical board examinations, earning Board Certification in Electrodiagnostics from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.
