We put our down payment down Dec 12,2011. I called on Jan. 4th, they said our siding is in and they could be there on Jan. 9th. So we proceeded to tear off the `old siding, (tear off was part of our agreement) . Jan.9th came and we were told that certainteed had sent the wrong siding. It had been sitting in there warehouse for a week, and nobody checked it. Then i was told they could get it in 2 days, did not happen. certainteed droped the ball again I was told. It is now Jan20th, and they have the siding, but wont come and install it due to weather. When I contracted this siding I ask about them doing it in January. They said that they work all winter long. Today's temp. is in the 20's and next week is suspose to be 30's and 40's. What are they waiting for !! Spring. we have had no siding on our house for 2 weeks this is not right. It's not like we didn't check with them before we tore it off, They did not do their part and check the siding in, for correct color. I would not recomend.
