Called and wanted a quote on a new Trane furnace and central air. Have owned Trane's before and they are the best around. Matt (the estimator) promised to be there at a certain day and time. Called just before coming--not going to make it. Would be there tomorrow. Tomorrow came--another call. Can't come, will be there Monday. Monday came and went with no Matt, no phone call. Two days later and still nothing. Missed time from work twice to work with YOUR schedule! Thanks for thinking about OUR schedules, Matt! Wish the old H & H was still around. Should have listened to one of my co-workers. My advice to others--call someone who cares.

I've had Bergen's at my house for a couple of different things. My kitchen sink and my air conditioner. Both times they did good work at a fair price. The day my AC needed worked on it was unbearably hot and humid outside. They came the SAME day, checked out my AC unit, cleaned it, made sure everything else was running correctly AND installed a new thermostat. The employee was knowledgeable, professional and got the job done quick. I will continue using them for my future needs.

I hired Bergen to repair my water heater. Communication and timing were fair, but I'm very disappointed in their work and fee rate. The plumber came to my place 3 times. The first time he said the heater needed a part; so he ordered it an returned a second time, only to tell me after 15 mintues that it was the wrong part. So, he tried again. On the third visit, he again spent 15-20 mintues with the heater then told me the wrong part had been shipped yet again. He then proceeded to convince me that I didn't really need the part and I could probably "get by for a few months without it." He tinkered around with the heater and got it to work... for 2 months before it started having problems again. He left a mess in my basement near the heater and didn't bother to clean it up. I was charged for 3 visits, which of course they charge driving time all 3 times even though 2 of the 3 visits were pointless. If you're looking for dependable water heater repair, DON'T call Bergen!

I had my entire sewer line replaced, including the portion under the street. They did good work on the sewer line, though they did have a few OSHA violations that put themselves at risk (didn't shore their trench while they were in it). They came in as the lowest bid and acted the most professional of all the contractors I requested bids from. They were upfront and honest about change orders that occurred, and when the final bill arrived, nothing was surprising. Since this was a very large project, I was pleased to discover they had financing options available through them, though I ended up not needing them.‎

My mothers house caught fire June 2007, Entire heating and A/C system needed to be replaced due to extensive smoke damage, Called Bergen for a quote as well as 4 other contractors, After all quotes were given My mother chose Bergen's to do the work. ### The installation was extemely professional and completed on time with NO surprises.### Highly recommend this company for all of your heating and cooling needs.
