Received a car to perform regular maintenance (timing belt/sprak plugs/trans fluid change). In the process of disassembling the car broke one of the engine mounting bolts, claimed it was due to a previous collision (that happened many years and almost 100000 miles ago), wanted me to buy a used engine for the car that was running fine before it was brought to the repair shop. Car no longer works, owner says "tough luck, not my problem" In - a functioning car for regular maintenance work, out a car that does not function, and, per owner of Speedy Motors, needs a replacement engine.

I used this shop's service for decades. I've purchased half a dozen cars from them and I'm always repairing all my cars over there, when in MI. They are professional, honest and courteous people, who served well not only me, but many friends of mine, whom I've referred to them over the years.

I have bought many cars and had several cars repaired here. I read the other review about them and I can tell you that it is not true.

I warn anyone going to Speedy Motors that they will come out losing a lot of money. I was standing in their shop and witnessed them promising customers to do repairs on their car, and then when the customer left, they had a conversation about all the short cuts they could take to fix the car temporarily. They fraudulently take money from people and threaten to take them to court if they don't pay it. If you are looking for an honest mechanic, go to a dealership. DO NOT use this place or you will be out money and will find yourself stressed up to your eyeballs.
