I am from NYC and I visit the Farmington/Hartford area frequently. Even though there are plenty of hydroponics/garden supply places at my disposal, I especially like this one. Yes, the place is small but I dont mind - I took home the catalog and perused through it endlessly. Their site is pretty comprehensive and with a user-friendly interface too.



The service makes up for the lack of square footage ten fold (a business has to start somewhere, right?). I'm sure with time, this place will grow bigger as more people discover how awesome they are.



Honestly, I'm not looking for a museum of dusty old stuff to look at anyway. It may not be the ideal spot for someone who is looking for specific items at a moment's notice but I like that the items I order are fresh from the manufacturers. I do my own research ahead of time and I ask questions at the shop. The guy I met there was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful all around. I even received a complimentary jug of worm tea as a first time customer!



Great service (a rarity these days) and a plethora of products available at great prices. I highly suggest picking up a catalog or bookmarking their website (sunnyhydro.com) for convenience. :)
