What Happened?

I used this company several months ago and they were actually pretty good so I recommended them to my sister who just moved this weekend.

The day after her move I visited her to see how things went and all she did was complain about this company. She explained to me that only one of the movers was acutually moving her furniture and the while the other guy was just wondering around hardly helping at all. Despite, the 8 mile move that took them 4 hours to complete (which is ridicules), the movers would not unload the furniture until after my sister signed their paperwork of deliverly. Really?!

Come on... if your going send movers out, make sure their honest movers.

I actually recommend this company to a friend of mine and he actually has them scheduled... I'm going to call him and inform him of my sisters experiance; just so he has a heads up on the company.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
My husband and I decided to use a moving company when we moved. We decided to go with Easy Moving Company because it was a reasonable price. The movers were very lazy. They said they could not move some things upstairs because they weren't strong enough and tried to talk us out of moving certain things upstairs. They didn't move the boxes or furniture items to where they belonged. The movers damaged several furniture items and lost part of our bed frame. There was a box that was labeled fragile and the mover purposely dropped it hard on the ground. When they were moving our items, they damaged a wall and a piece of wood flooring. We also had patio furniture in the backyard. The mover told my husband he would load it if my husband went to the backyard and brought it to him. They consistently talked about how many items they break when moving things and hadn't been paid in a few weeks because of that. When on their lunch break, the movers accidentally caught a moving blanket on fire in our front yard. Also, the movers received a call that they had another job at 5pm. So, the movers purposely went slower on our house so they wouldn't have to go do another job that evening.

Overall a terrible experience. I normally do not write reviews, but I do not want anyone else to go through the experience that we did.

With regards to complaints online, please understand that all moving companies in Texas are under TxDMV authority. Unsatisfied customers/claimants definitely have the right to file claims, although several of these comments online are not recognized as our clients nor have they been submitted. Unfortunately, because of such, we have not had the opportunity to properly handle them. We complete over 3500 moves annually and are licensed through the TxDMV. We provide our quotes in writing prior to the move as well as the “Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move in Texas” with all pertinent information, provide a 3 part carbon contract at time of move of which the customer receives 2 copies, a customer questionnaire upon completion, request a walk through for completion & satisfaction which allows the customer to address & write any current issues or questions on the contract before the movers leave. We are entering our 13th year in business serving DFW and Texas and greatly appreciate our customers and will continue to utilize all information, comments in writing and by social media as a tool to improve our quality of service. Please do not use Easy Moving Company for any of your moving needs. There are many other companies out there that will not show up 3 hours late then damage your belongings and refuse to compensate you for that damage.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I Don't even think they deserve one star. They have decent customer service until something goes wrong. They were unprofessional and ran stuff into corners multiple times. Plus they showed up an hour and a half late. They broke my standing mirror/jewelry holder. I had a receipt to prove it was new and never used. They took it apart when they didn't need to and broke it, we refused to sign that we only wanted weight value, we would not take that value it was a 130 value I wanted at least half of that. They refused to pay it. We called and complained and said we wanted something in return, weather it be free service or replacement of my mirror. They said that the claims people were not in. I called every day for a week and a half and they said the same thing every day, which we all no is not true. In return they gave me $14, absolutely ridiculous.
