Pole Position LLC uses a state of the art pure water system to clean exterior windows. Water is first filtered through a carbon filter and then into a De-Ionization tank filled with mixed bed resin. This resin removes 99.9% of all dissolved minerals in the water, resulting in pure water. We use water fed poles constructed of carbon fiber that reach up to a height of 75 ft. These have a specialized brush on the end with 4 jets that the water is pushed through. The cleaning process consists of scrubbing the frames, sills and glass. This separates the dirt and grime not only from the glass but from every surface and crack, areas that traditional window cleaners are not able to reach. Finally the frames and glass are rinsed thoroughly with the pure water. The pure water attracts dirt on a molecular level as it rinses off, leaving a perfectly clean and spot free surface. Since no chemicals or soaps are used, the surface is left residue free and thus stays cleaner for a longer period of time. Our process is also eco friendly on the surrounding landscaping as well as being gentle on window seals. Ladders are not required either, so you have less worry about your siding or glass being damaged, as well as the potential of a worker falling or losing control of the ladder. Pole Position recommends that buildings be cleaned on a quarterly or twice a year basis to ensure that the glass and seals are properly maintained. Commercial builders as well as glass manufacturers now recommend this on their new builds as part of the building maintenance schedule.
