Have been going here occasionally ever since they opened. Worked my way thru the menu, from sandwiches, entree's, app's etc. Everything has been excellent. We've brought friends and family too, and never a bad meal. Every one has always had top shelf comments for Al an' Rubens. We also like the jazz ensembles during the week. Staff is polite, courteous, friendly and professional. It does get jammed up on weekends though and sometimes there is a wait to get seated. But once the food arrives you'll see the wait was worth it. This is definitely one of the top (3) places to eat in Washington, PA

My favorite restaurant! The food is unique and delicious. The staff is courteous and friendly, and Chef Al and his lovely wife, Leesa, are the best. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. When I think of "comfort food", this is the place I want to go. I highly recommend it!

TO much drama with the staff/ Food was ok had better would never recommend unless they became more professional and the place did not look like such a dump.....

Absolutely love Al & Reubens. Everything is bursting with flavor, perfectly prepared and reasonably priced.
