Dr. Suresh Lohano is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He received his medical residency training at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County, Chicago and started his career as primary care physician in 2004 at Daviess community Hospital. In 2005 built a new hospitalist program from the ground up as a core component of strategic plan to improve patient service, customer satisfaction, and market share. Established a robust program structure, operational procedures, and systems for coordination with primary care and specialist physicians to facilitate exceptional delivery of care to hospitalized patients. Dr. Lohano was Integral in planning and launching Urgent Care Center in 2009. In 2014 Dr. Lohano established a new hospitalist program at then Floyd Memorial Hospital and have been Medical Director of the Hospitalist program at Baptist Health Floyd till 2020. As an Internist/Pediatrician hospitalist, and Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), Fellow of the Society of Hospital Medicine, Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics with 16 years of experience in direct patient care, provides Dr Lohano a unique background in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics care and customer service.
