WebsiteHPHB is a private practice that specializes in providing parent counseling and coaching to benefit the entire family. It is done in the client's home, not in an office. I passionately believe that when parents are truly happy, the children of the house are going to be happy too. When Mommy and/or Daddy aren't coping with things productively, it can translate to conflict, anxiety, depression, and other difficult things that impact the kids. Conversely, happy parents cultivate happy, well-adjusted children. Hence the name, Happy Parents, Happy Babies. My personal journey of learning from my childhood, consciously approaching parenting with self-awareness and passion, and being able to enjoy life in the present moment all support my enthusiasm for the work I do. HPHB offers hands-on, practical parent counseling and coaching where we work as a team to address feelings of being overwhelmed, or anything that's getting in the way of a positive relationship with your child. As parents, we all need a little support sometimes and it's okay to ask for some help.
HPHB provides counseling and coaching, combining elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and relaxation techniques, Family Systems Theory, solution-focused and strengths-based approaches, and motivational coaching (for those who want it). The client's faith & spirituality, and creative outlets such as art and music can be incorporated.

HPHB services come to you in your own home to cut down on stress and tailor helpful strategies to meet your family needs right where you are now.HPHB is ideal for addressing: family change/transitions (divorce, separation, illness, loss, new baby), new parent anxiety & parent planning, blended families, parental stress, challenging behavior in your child, sibling rivalry, strengthening attachment and bonding, relaxation and time management, supporting a special needs child, dysfunctional family patterns, and more. Call for a free phone consultation. A 30 min. face-to-face consult is available at a reduced rate. Please call for session rates (sliding scale available). In-home sessions are intended for you to be comfortable. No "cleaning up for company" needed.
