Perfect for camping near popular destinations. So close to the beach I couldn't believe it (very short walking distance). The lake has a ton of small mouth bass.
Perfect for the family.

The people who live here are nice and the location is great and close to the beach, but it's a real dump. The RV "resort" consists of derelict vehicles, rented RV's that are a minimum of 30 years old, and garbage all over. The tentsites contained garbage, including an old bed atop a firepit. Bring your own toilet paper, they don't provide any. Plan on taking your garbage home, there are no garbage cans for the campsites. There is nowhere to dump your campsite wash water; signs in the restrooms warn, "don't dump it here"; signs on the laundry room say, "don't wash your dishes here." I was charged nearly what I would have paid at Fort Stevens (which was full and was further away from our destination for the weekend), but it was not at all worthy of the price. Another camper arrived the second evening of our stay, and talked about the "great" price that she paid - $5 less than what I was charged. (When I arrived at the campground, I was asked what I was quoted on the phone, so there appears to be no consistent pricing.)
