Well, I've been a patient of Dr. Morvay's for the past 5 years. Never have I ever been refused an appointment or had to wait for a half hour and then get turned away. I just don't buy it. The funny thing is, why did you came back THREE times if your experience was SO bad? He just took over a practice in Beachwood from another dentist. I'm reasonably sure if there were scheduling problems, it was because of the rapid transition from the previous Doctor leaving. But that transition is past. Dr. Morvay uses a computer that schedules people very effectively. There’s NO WAY he’d tell his secretary to have you come back at the end of the day unless you didn’t have an appointment to begin with or were seriously late in arriving for your own. This isn’t a beauty parlor where walk-ins are welcome. Yes, your time is valuable – I agree. And so are the other patients who are promptly on time for their appointments.

I have had a number of appointments where I come at my scheduled time and am told they can't see me and to come back later on in the day when they aren't as busy after keeping me waiting for 1/2 hour. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me! I even called prior to coming in to confirm he was "on schedule" and the secretary said yes and then when I arrived, Dr Morvay was heard in the background telling the secretary to tell me to come back again at the end of the their work day and that he couldn't see me!!! My time is just as valuable as theirs and I am APPALLED at the way I was treated. In addition, he does sub-standard work and I had to go back to get the same tooth filled twice because he didn't perform the service correctly the first time and I continued to have a lot of tooth pain. He finally replaced the filling after 2 more visits but it should have never happened to begin with. I will NEVER go back there again!

Dr. Morvay is a great dentist. He always makes time for a dental emergency. He's friendly, actually has a great sense of humor, and is easy to talk to. I used to fear walking through the dentist office door, but no more. I know when I have a dental problem, it will be immediately resolved the day I see Dr. Morvay. Another thing about him and his staff is they take care of my dental problems with very little discomfort. I had a root planning done and although I was fearful, there was not pain at all. His dental hygienist was very careful and effective. At Dr. Morvay's office, its all about the patient. And finally, I've found his prices very reasonable.

When my dentist retired 20 years ago, I used this excuse to simply stop going. 17 years later - I paid for my mistake with an abscessed tooth. I expected and dreaded a well deserved lecture on neglecting my dental health. But Dr. Morvay simply said, “Don’t worry – we’ll fix you up!” No lecture, no humiliation, and immediate relief from my misery. Needless to say, this is the type of dental care you want. Not only is he a great dentist, but he offers convenient evening office hours too. If you’re looking for a dentist, he’s the one you need.

The phone staff is readily able to tell you what they cannnot do (in terms of an appointment) as opposed what they can offer. An emergency visit (filling came out with a great deal of pain) took a WEEK to be seen. I would question the definition of "emergency services" as stated above.
