"I have known George and Sophia of Funtulis Property Group (FPG) for over 4 years now. In that time I have purchased multiple properties and have FPG manage them.

I also have referred over 25 Australian clients to FPG to manage over 100 properties. They have been crucial to the success of each Australians property portfolio. These are the guys you want managing your properties.

They have all the systems in place to ensure all the pieces are handled. This includes the repairs and maintenance, the screening and placement of tenants, all Section 8 documentation, the scheduling of regulatory inspections, the regular inspection of the properties and to make sure your rent is collected and disbursed to your bank account.

Here in Australia the property management market is highly regulated and therefore minimizes the risks to owning and renting properties. Unlike the USA the property management industry, which is unregulated and therefore imperative that you find the right management team.

I am an international property owner with property in other parts of the world. In that time I have discovered there are many ‘moving parts’ to a buy and hold strategy in the property market. George and Sophia Funtulis have it all covered. I would highly recommend them to any highly sophisticated property owner to someone starting out with their first rental property."

Funtulis property group does not take care of their properties. I live next door to one of their properties. It is the worst house on my block. I've called code enforcement on them multiple times to no avail. I've lived next to this property for more than a decade and it's just got worse the whole time. The bushes and trees are overgrown and they don't enforce their tenants to cut the grass and it's at least a foot high right now. A tree that fell over two years ago is still laying in the yard. They're just interested in collecting their money and don't care about the integrity of the neighborhood that their houses are in or about how bad these houses look or what kind of people they put in these houses. I feel bad for the Australians that own this property as they probably have no idea what a shithole property they own because they too are just interested in collecting that section 8 money and don't care about the real people that have to live near these houses. Thanks for nothing Funtulis property group.

I would NOT recommend Funtulis Property Group to anyone. I had a contract with Funtulis Property Group to handle my property. Due to issues with previous tenants the property needed to be repaired. George Funtulis EXPLICITLY said that it did not matter who worked on the property to repair it, but his group would manage it and help us obtain new tenants. In fact, we gave Funtulis some work to repair the work in the house, but it was not the work he wanted. When we looked into having someone else repair the deck, for which George Funtulis never gave us a price for repairing, George Funtulis went from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. Lacking integrity, he broke his contract with me. He then became rude and belligerent on the phone. I strongly suggest finding another property management group. I'm sure that you can find a group that will act in integrity and honor their word.
