Dr. Cardenas is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and Pain Medicine. She specializes in helping people needing rehabilitation and physical medicine to manage their neuromuscular conditions which include disorders of the spine, muscles, and joints. She also specializes in the treatment of conditions associated with severe chronic pain. In this area, she uses a multidisciplinary approach that includes Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Spinal, and Joint Injections and medications. Dr. Cardenas is a graduate of New York Medical College, currently, double Board Certified in PM&R and Pain Medicine. She has continued her education with postgraduate training in Pain Management, Electro-diagnosis, Mind-Body Medicine and most recently in Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine to offer her patients the best and most up-to-date care available. Dr. Cardenas has been in practice since 1994 where she started her first Practice in Rye Brook, NY. After that, she added two locations in 1996 in Cold Spring and in 2002 in Yorktown Heights, NY.
