I hired him to install a bath shower combo with three walls and a whirlpool hot tub.
Never got past the shower. He spent two days notching out two by fours to fit the shower walls into place. All because he put tub in place with out checking the walls for plumb or level. By doing all the notching the shower walls did not line up with the sheetrock above the shower that has to sit on the shower wall ledge. So then he reversed the notched 2x4's only to put them bat out of level creating a 1.5 inch gap. So now all the existing sheetrock is ripped out the walls a crooked and then then he left never to return,. Went on honeymoon and has $925.00 of my money in cash and a $1000.00 check that I stopped payment on. The job was finished by me but took twice as long to complete because of all the damage. Good thing that the wall that he really messed up was not a supporting wall. I was so upset. I feel like I let the Devil in my house and I am not religious. Franz pay me the money you owe me and learn some skills before you damage anyone else homes.
