I have lived in my apt 18 mos with a long-haired black dog that sheds, sheds, sheds. Apt management offered to clean my carpets for me but all my neighbors testified that the process left their carpets wet for DAYS. Tom from HVCD was on-time. through and fast and $$ reasonable. My carpets look, smell great and they were dry in hours. I would definitely recommend Tom and HVCD. I will be calling him again.

I have 4 kids, 2 cats, and a 100 lb dog that fully soil our carpets and rugs. That being said, I am always very conscious of the products used in my home. I do NOT want toxic materials and cleaning products applied where my family lives, eats, and sleeps. I called HV Chemdry and contrary to the title of the company, they do NOT use an array of chemicals to clean rugs and upholstery. This is not a "steam-clean" company either. Tom (the owner) uses a series of enzymatic sprays and oxidization to truly clean our (very hard-to-clean) wool, Berber carpets and rugs. These types of rugs are unforgiving and after Tom is through, the place is a few shades brighter and colors more vivid. And the carpets are DRY within hours. There is one stain that still rears it's ugly head no matter how many people have tried to conquer it. And yes I've had several other ((well known)) companies try to rid my carpet of this stain. I guess you could say I end up calling Tom back because he CARES. His products are safe, he is diligent, respectful, and he gets the job done right the first time!! (I'm still remembering the mess Tom had to clean up AFTER another company left my stairs SOAKING wet with a massive soap spill. Our community should have more business owners like Tom.
