Don't waste your money. They treated me like crap after I was the victim of a theft at this club. They haven't found the thief yet either, scary. The new GM Adam never returned my phone call reporting the theft , actually denied receiving my voicemail. Awful. Left the club after 20 years, happy now at BSC in West Newton.

Not worth membership when I can get more for less elsewhere. Uninspired out of shape instructors is not what I expect when I take a class. If you are serious about fitness and enjoy group classes that are challenging and choreographed by real athletes and experienced fitness professionals, this is not the place for you.



Used to be great but recent management changes under newly hired GM appear to be self-serving rather than in best interest for club and members. Replaced awesome group fitness managers, instructors, and trainers with girlfriend and other cronies who are more out of shape than I am.

l think that this the most outdated sports center l have been to, old equipments, old carpets, they are trying to keep clean , but if everything is old, it is not possible. While doing plates it is all dust around.

l also had a very bad experience with one of the guests. While he was talking to others, he was still trying to keep the equipments for himself and did not let me use it for even 1 minute, he even did not continue using the equipment when l left for another one and as an excuse he said he was doing his routine as if l was doing something else, and he behaved as if he had all the rights to not allow me to use the equipment. He behaved like that mainly because l was a female and he was older. l would expect a person of his age to be kinder. Anyway, meanwhile the trainers around did not intervene and the manager was invisible and did not bother to speak and say sorry at all.

This place is a complete disaster in terms of customer satisfaction. They only value those customers who do not have any issues or complain and are content with the oldish style.

l have seen better ones like Mount Auburn Club, where they provide towels and many times of shampoos and even lotion for everybody, not for special customers. lt is not even cheap, l have heard much cheaper ones with better equipments.

The only good thing is the instructors. But yiu can find them in other places too.



Keep in mind that they do not help customers if you have any issues and it is a very outdated sports club which needs a complete change. Further what they

mention in this above list is useless and exaggerated. For instance the child care is not free, and of course they should have lockers.

I have lost 5 1bs. taking the group fitness classes at this club. I had previously been a member at BSC Waltham but changed my membership b/c I needed to do therapy in the pool. I was more than surprised at how excellent all the instructors are. I do have to say I miss the state of the art equipment at the other club. It is somewhat depressing to see old the old equipment that this club has but I can't give up my favorite instructors that motivate my workouts everyday.

I love the nail tec there. Tracy is an awesome manicurist and knows what she is doing. I go there to get my nails done by her and from now on i will only get my nails done from her. Tracy is the best around in Waltham and you are very lucky to have her.
