I want to say thank you to Maher Construction, for the quick response to the water damage that was created when the waterline to my fridge broke while I was on vacation. Thank you for the quick resopnse, professionalism and more importantly the reassurance that you gave me that the reapirs would be done quickly and correctly the first time.

Pushy sales lady. Wanted my deductible upfront, no way!!

Told them to just do the ice dam and to bill my insurance company. They sent guys out, they shoveled the roif and had



to go to the store for calcium chloride. Why wouldn't you have that on ur big truck?

Sales lady called me a week later and wanted to come to my work to get a check for $600 for the work. I calked my insurance company and they called her.

Well, I still have the ice dams. Didn't even put a dent in them so $600 for two guys for 1/2 hour cleaning a roof on a 700 sq. ft. house.

If I could give negative stars I would. LOUSY WORK. RIP OFF. Glad I didn't have them do the inside restoration!

Oh and on that, she quoted the job but said they would only paint the living room but couldn't do the adjoining hall. Really? The other company I am having do the work has no problem painting the 3 foot hallway.

More problems with their quote and work but I just don't feel like writing that novel!!

I came across this review site while looking for Maher's Number. I was surprised to see anything other than glowing reviews about this company. This group of people came into my community when we needed them most. We also experienced flooding in Livonia and were so very impressed by the job that Maher did for us, and all of our neighbors. I have heard HORROR stories from friends and community acquaintances about their experiences during the flooding. We were very happy and lthough we never want to experience anything such as this again, we will happily refer this company as well as use them!

We got hit by the flooding on May 25th. Maher came out and gave us options when we found out we wouldn't be covered by our insurance policy. There were things we were able to do with our friends and they did the rest. They are a good company, and we are glad we used them.

This company does substandard work. Do not use them. They will make you feel like they are your best friends and will take care of you and your problem, but at the end will stry to squeeze everything they can out of you. Not only that, the quality of workmanship is far below average, the care for you personal belongings is almost non-existent, and they are very good at scamming your insurance company. Consumer beware - if you choose this contractor, document everything from the initial stages until the very end.
