Garrison Middle School provides academic enrollment to more than 600 students in grades six through eight. It is affiliated with the Walla Walla Public Schools and is located in Walla Walla, Wash. The school offers various student activities, such as organized athletic program, student council library assistants, mentoring opportunities, office assistants, activity days, peer mediation, after school clubs and National Junior Honor Society. It provides a variety of programs to students, including drug and alcohol awareness, AIDS curriculum, social skills training cross age tutoring, weekend leadership conferences, anger management groups and divorce recovery support groups. Garrison Middle School s basic curriculum includes special education, music, physical education, technology, English, math, science, social studies, language arts and health.
