Very uncomfortable atmosphere. Cold. No greetings entering or leaving.

Customers stand ignored. Employees stand around talking.

Could also use a good cleaning.

I went to Spa Mosaic just a week ago for the first time. I was greeted upon my arrival, and seconds later my stylist was present. I found her to be very caring and concerned about my hair and what my needs were. She was not rushed at all in the 3 hours she spent with me. (my hair needed alot of attention...color, cut,etc). The salon was busy, but one would only notice this by the people moving about, and the staff was still able to keep a calm environment. I loved the spa's tranquil music playing, (such a nice change from Top 40 with commercials!!!) After my color was applied my stylist explained to me about all the Aveda hair care products in the retail section. She was able to direct me to the products which my starving hair needs to become healthy again. After this she gave me a tour of the spa. Which I am definitly excited to book a facial, or a massage, or both!! Top notch private massage rooms available. Several times I was offered coffee, water, etc. After my wonderful shampoo with the greatest shampoo chairs (massaging my back and my feet were elevated), My stylist took great care with my haircut, spent lots of time on blowdrying and finishing my hair. The thing which impressed me the most was that my stylist was not interrupted at all while working on me due to their full time receptionist. I found the entire staff warm and friendly with their smiles. I can't wait to go for my next appointment which I already booked.



P.S. I am a retired hairdresser. I worked for 22 years at a salon in Ct.



P.S.S. Being of the industry I know very well that maybe some hair on the floor may not see a broom right away, or the retail shelves may need a visit from the feather duster, but these minor things do not take away from the very professional staff and great experience I had. I must admit that AFTER I booked my appointment I read the review by "susanaf". That made me quite uneasy. I even had a few bad dreams about going to this salon. But my love for Aveda products and my wanting to go to an exclusive Aveda salon overcame the negative review. This is the reason I felt so compelled to write my own review about my very positive experience!! Even though this Spa is 30 minutes from my home it is worth the time and gas.

I have been a client at Spa Mosaic since they opened and have found it to always be clean and inspiring. The staff are very in tune with what I need and make every effort to make my experience there peaceful and inspiring. The once a month theme days are always great fun!!

This year my sweet, adorable, loving daughter, gave me a day at Spa Mosaic for Mother's Day. It was by far the best Mother's Day, I had the works. It was a total suprise! When I arrived the staff was just amazing they all new the secret of my day and were instrumental in helping my daughter spring the surprise and pamper me along the way, they were allways there with what ever I needed and even served me lunch as I was there all morning into the afternoon. I had a pedicure, a manicure, a facial, a massage and my hair trimed and styled, talk about feeling special and relaxed , I was!!!! I truely experienced peacefully inspired beauty. Thank You, to my Loving Daughter and all the caring, talented staff at Spa Mosaic.

I went to the spa a couple days ago for the first time and i would have to say it one of the best one's i have been to. It was so relaxing everyone that worked there were so nice you could just tell they all worked as a team. I also loved the way it looked it was so georgeous so different compared to what i have seen. So im not sure what susanf is talking about she must have been one of those unpleasable clients or just a real jerk . But Spa Mosaic was magnificiant and i will be visiting again and again.

The staff is absolutely amazing! So friendly, so relaxing ! It's like the family ! Every service I have is just wonderful. The newest member,Jamie the nail tech did a great job! Amber has been cutting my hair for years,changing the styles and color when she needs to. I just had my bangs done to shape my face more and they look fabulous goodbye large forehead! My next visit will be with Sam the new massage therapist. Now the students at URI that have Ram Account can use it there too! Thank you Spa Mosaic.

The first thing I noticed when I walked into Spa Mosaic was that it was dirty. It needed to be swept and dusted in the worst way. Next was the staff seemed bored and a bit rude. Almost a half hour after my appointment was supposed to begin, someone came over and told me that there was a problem with the room (?) and could not give me any estimate as to when my appointment would happen so I just cancelled it. My companion was getting a pedicure, which went well enough, but about 5 minutes before she was done, someone finally came over to ask if she needed a drink. Which was odd because it wasn't busy and the employees were just standing around and talking to each other the whole time I was there. I felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable. With so many other spas and salons in the area offering the same services, I highly recommend going elsewhere.
