Diving was fine and a great asset for local dive instructors to do open water courses. Camping there, not so much. After dark, about 10 PM while we were still enjoying a quiet campfire shots rang out and bullets started skipping around us. The neighbor, a relative to the owner was shooting at a "rabid fox." The owner had no apologue except they had to shoot at the rabid fox. It was like the lives of his customers were inconsequential.
