She is doing so much better, eating and drinking on her own and playing.

If I could put no stars I would. This place has no compassion for animals at all. They are so wrapped up about money with absolutely no concern for the well being of or the care needed to be given to the animals that come into their place of business. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. VISALIA WOULD BE BETTER OFF NOT HAVING THIS AS AN OPTION TO GO TO. If you do go you will be greatly disappointed with the care your sick family member will receive.

Dr TolMAN is the worst vet I've ever encountered she will let your animal die with no remorse. Our 9 day old French Mastiff puppy was not eating and a bit lethargic so with my 2 daughters we rush to the vet thinking we were going to a doctor boy were we wrong!! As we waited for 40 min for Dr TOLMAN to make her appearance in our room our puppy's condition worsend. I walked out to let someone know things were not going well Dr. Tolman finally made a quick appearance and said "we can put your puppy down" or give him a shot of atropine to speed the heart rate but he will ultimately die. So while we tried to contemplated our horrible options Dr TolMAN said "well while you think about that your puppy has probably already made that decision for you" and left the room.. Wow!! Pure AWE came over my wife and daughters. So with no hope we said we will take him home and make him comfortable with a heating mat and some electrolytes 12 hrs later he's going strong eating moving and latching back on mom he's still day to day but hey! If we listen to our scary terrible Dr TolMAN and her staff. He would be uthenized right now..

The staff at night is so unprofessional and so uncaring about people's animals that shouldn't be working there and I suggest not going unless you absolutely have to . Way too expensive

I took my dog into this get on a Sunday afternoon. They were busy and we waited almost an hour and a half before we were taken into an exam room. After three assistant look at my dog I realised she was not seriously hurt. We were advised that the Dr would be into see us. We waited an hour and 35 minutes, no one can in to even acknowledge we were there, or remind us that the Dr would be in to see us. We left, the receptionist said we did not owe anything. Visalia, needs another weekend vet. I am going to Clovis next time.

I took my dog to this place because it was the middle of the night and I thought we couldn't wait until morning. The young lady who helped us was pleasant enough but all she did was tell us how much everything would cost. I went there because it is the only emergency vet in the area. You would think people in that type of business would care about helping sick or injured animals-WRONG-all they cared about was money. They even refused to look at my dog without my SS#! Why would they need that unless they were going to run a credit report to see how much they could gouge me for! The Vet wouldn't even look at my dog unless I forked over another $100! How sad is that. Once they found out I couldn't afford expensive tests and treatments out came the euthanasia option. I am not sure that the lady that was helping us was even qualified to provide medical care, she seemed like a receptionist. We ended up putting our dog to sleep because it seemed to be the right thing to do at the time. When we went to pick up the ashes the people, receptionist, office manager, were rude and condescending when we complained about their lying and lack of compassion. Wow, even basic customer service was too much for them. This was the most traumatic experience of my young son's life and the final memories of his beloved friend has been tainted by the very people he trusted to help.

They killed my dog!!!!!!!!!!!! Stay away from this place.... The staff all lie and are only out to get all the money they can from you. They take advantage of the situation you are in and then treat you rudely if you question what was done or the amount of your bill.

We brought are friends dog in because He was hit by a car. Our friend was out-of-town because she just had brain surgery . They were very professional and wanted to make sure that owner wanted to save him. Very nice staff yes they are expensive but who doesn't want the very Best when saving their pet of course it's going to cost more because it's an after hours hospital but we are very happy with our service here and would recommend it to anyone

I WOULD NOT recommend this facility! I took my dog there who was in pain and agony and they just left her there on the table and did nothing for her while they charged me over $119 for an exam which only consisted of weighing her, taking her temperature and feeling around her body. They did NOTHING else. What's worse is I caught the Vet looking at my handbag (designer and was a gift) several times which is a reason I am sure they quoted me a price of over $1300 just to run tests to see what was wrong with her, In the end I had to put her down because they gave me no other options if I could not pay that outrageous fee right then and there. I am so heartbroken to have lost my dog and I will never take any of my pets here again. I ended up having to pay $200 for them to put her down. Ridiculous! I for sure would make the drive to Fresno! I rated only 1 star because that's the lowest I could go.

We took my sister's dog there at midnight. The vet tech helped us get us situated, bringing her dog in as she couldn't walk. The vet gave us choices on what could be done, however, in the end she was put to rest. They have a special room for this which surprised me but it was very comforting at the time. I've had to take my two dogs there before for emergency treatment and I wouldn't hesitate to give them my business again. Vet costs are extremely expensive now days whether it's a regular vet or 24 hour on call vet.

Do not go here, they are overpriced, expecially for the service they provide.The vet we say was arrogant and rude and would not even allow us to ask questions. When we did, he acted like we were stupid (my husband and I are both quite educated). We will not return. In the end we did not leave our very sick dog there due to the ourageous estimate we were given and the lack of compassion and rudenss of the vet and the staff. Dr. Meyer was the veterinarian's name. Next time we will travel to Fresno - I have heard that there is better service at the emergency clinic there - worth the drive.

The staff is awesome, the veterinarian was honest and compassionate. I have had bad experiences with veterinarians in the past and I felt like my dog was in the best of hands. They are pricier than other places but so worth the money, especially when your pet (or family member like my dog is) is in need of attention on a Saturday night. I would recommend them a hundred times over.
