My first review. Have driven truck all over the country last 20 years. Mechanics in Visalia are in general are low character people. Madman Muffler which I didn't plan on getting the installation of my own parts, ie cat, muff, pipes, welds, etc. I had read the reviews of this place and stopped at 0755 on my way ton another shop. No apt, Mon, just be here first when place opens. Pat the owner gave me a fair price and the installer, both were normal guys who spoke English. Lot of these Mexicans don't care much for gringos. So this place as I sat waiting treated every cust of any color, culture, old, young with the same respect and patience. If there is a mechanics Heaven Pat will be riding shotgun and his people will be smiling in coach. All reviews don't mean much but you cant deny this place has a lot of positive reviews.

Nobody would even talk to me about my car computer problem as my car is fifteen years old and made by Suzuki...as soon as they heard the word[s] 'Suzuki and Car Computer' they either stopped listening OR hung up on me. I must have called at least 100 parts distributors and emailed websites....with absolutely no assistance and the rudest people you will ever meet.....UNTIL my friend Patty Aimes convinced me to try Madman.

I was desperate so I talked to Pat at Madman's Muffler on the phone explained the problem and made arrangements to have the car towed to his business. I was struck by how nice and professional Pat was on the phone.

Pat had my car for a couple of months as he encountered some of the same problems I did when trying to locate 'computer parts' for my 2000 Suzuki but he did not give up like I know so many others would have. He persevered until he found the 'parts' required. I was ecstatic when he was able to repair the car as I had taken good care of my car and expected at least another five years out of it.

I would like to point out how honest and professional Pat was during this ordeal....I know he could have charged me a lot more than he did and 'Others' would have taken advantage of the situation and did just that.

I would recommend Pat at Madman's Muffler to people who are seeking good work at a reasonable price. My car runs as good or better than it did before the 'car computer problem'.

P.S. Madman's does other automobile work in addition to mufflers.....I'm sure people don't realize this.

Pat and Jim are great very knowledgable and aim to please. When I was wanting the perfect sound for my 00 Dodge they bent over backwards to get me that great sound and at a very affordable price. They also stand by the products they sell. When my flow master had an internal failure, Pat was there to save the day. I can not give enough compliments to this place. I will be a lifetime customer!

Madmans is the best place to go, so helpful and affodable! And Johnny the muffler man is a hottie!!
