Provided by YP.comExcellent rehabilitation program. Excellent activity program. Very respectful and kind to residents. Nursing care, however, is below par. Nurses can't seem to get all required medications administered as ordered by Doctor. Takes 4-5 days after entrance to get all medications on board, they seem to be very understaffed when it comes to nurses and CNA's. Cna's work hard but there just isn't enough of them to go around during "peak hours" The food is tasty and well-prepares. While special diets are accommodated, it may take time (days or weeks) to get the accommodations right. Facility is incredibly clean and never has urine or other odors that are smelled
In other facilities.

Provided by SuperpagesPlaced my Grandma here after touring all the others. Best place for her in Visalia. Therapists were effective and friendly. Food was good and staff was nice. Very family oriented.

Provided by YP.comAfter looking at all of the options in Visalia, I placed my grandmother here. The place is clean and doesn't have an odor. The care givers were kind, gentle and sweet. When it came time for her to pass, hospice was called in and she was treated with care and dignity. Highly recommend

Provided by YP.comSome of the staff members were surly and rude to my mom. I know it is hard to work in these places, but sensitivity and kindness is what we expected and we didn't always get that. Also, my mom wanted to do physical therapy and get better but was often too tired and they made her go to therapy anyway which made her even more tired. It was a lot harder for her to make progress that way. They were more interested in getting things done THEIR way then doing what was best for mom. We had some paper work they needed to do for us to get her moved into an assisted living facility and they lost it and then it got passed around and around an no one took responsibility for getting it done and we had to hound them for days to finally get it done and that happened only with my sister standing over them while they did it. We did not leave there with a positive feeling.
