Got trees removed on 27 Feb. 2018, but they did not ground surface roots as per the contract. Left with money and been getting the run around ever since. It is not 27 March 3018. Reported them to the B.B.B. Never use this company. He is a scam artist.

Had a appointment for 2 Sept 2016 at 1:00 p.m. I closed up my business to make sure I was their, no contact from company. I lost business and this company will also.

I have used this tree service in the past and have been fairly satisfied with their service, until this most recent storm. $150 to pull a branch off of my single story roof, cut it up and leave at the curb I think is price gouging. Not only will I not use them again, I will tell any one who asks to check Home Advisor instead.

I called Poor Folks after hearing good reviews and seeing their trucks a couple blocks from my street doing work. They came quickly to do the estimate which was reasonable to remove limbs off the roof of our house. They said they would come the next week. Nothing. I called the office and was told due to rain they were behind and would be coming the next week on Tuesday or Wednesday. It's been 4 weeks and have never received a phone call or seen the company again. Missed opportunity for them since we were using this small job to see their work before hiring themto take down a half dozen trees in our new home we purchased. If Poor Folks doesn't want to do small jobs than just say that rather than leading you to believe they will do the work and wasting people's time. Our house was on the market as well which they knew. Choose another company that is more professional.

Great service. I couldn't be happier. Not only did they do a great job, my tree fell over my deck and crushed my fence. They helped dig up and replant flowers in my neighbors yard that were damaged from the fence. Highly recommend them if you want quality work and quality service.

Last year we had the guys come and trim up about 15 trees in our yard. This year they came and took two mature trees down. They were done in about 2 hours - nothing left except the stump shavings. Great work and we'll definitely use you again when it's time for more trees to be removed!!
