We have just discovered Mrs. Carnley's negative review and think it is appropriate to attempt to set the facts straight. In the first place, Mrs. Carnley was not our client. Secondly, it seems the charges which Mrs. Carnley complains about were legitimate ones which she was obligated to pay under the terms of her real estate contract. We of course regret whatever misunderstanding lies behind Mrs. Carnley's complaint and are sorry we did not have the opportunity to address it before she undertook to cast aspersions against us. Our objective is always to render the best legal services possible, and we have no reason to believe we fell short of that goal in this transaction. Robert G. Jones for Jones & Walker, P.C.

These people play fast and loose with your real estate closing numbers. If your RE agent places you with these people, run far away. They do not admit mistakes, nor take any accountability when you ask they be accountable for a mistake(s). During a closing on a house we sold, they did not charge us $300 dollars they should have. After we signed, they said we had to sign again and reduce our payout by $300. They made an error, in the "real" world, businesses must absorb mistakes. Not in the world of Jones & Walker. Other parties get the tab. They offered no viable solution to several calculation errors--they only offered $75 for another attorney to review the real estate numbers. No RE attorney works that cheaply. Seems they enjoy having you over the proverbial barrel; especially when large monetary transactions are at stake. They may have professional titles, but NO PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY OR SERVICE. Agents and consumers run very far away, unless you just like paying for mistakes.
