Dernis did an outstanding job installing my granite kitchen counters. The first thing that impressed me about Dernis (aside from the price), was the professionalism and punctuality of Mo, the sales person. Mo was able to quickly provide an estimate for a variety of kinds of granite, then quickly had someone over to take measurements. I was floored by the detail and care taken by the gentleman that came over to measure the kitchen. He was so incredibly precise! He spent 300% more time measuring (vs another local company) measuring every detail of the existing counters and backsplash! The fabricators at Dernis worked hard to make sure that the edging matched the island, which did not follow a standard edging pattern. Finally, the installation team removed the existing countertops without a scratch of damage to the existing cabinets, they were even able to remove the countertops with such care, that we were able to keep our existing backsplash! The new counters look outstanding! The counters and backsplash are a perfect fit, and the caulk-work look so good you can barely see the seams. The counters have been in for 6 months and we have received nothing but complements. I highly recommend Dernis!

I was looking for a granite company in the middle of remodeling an older home when accidentally I saw the Dernis building while driving and pulled in. I had remembered their name from a recent Homerama. I had no appointment (obviously) and the salesperson Cat Strathmann welcomed me and took her time explaining and showing samples. She helped me through the whole process, gave me advice and opinion and I ended up getting the granite from them. I had several estimates, Dernis beat all of them and everyone at Dernis did a wonderful job. We have now a beautiful kitchen and bathrooms and we are very happy with all!

Total of Job @ 25,000. 1.)Installed a completely broken countertop, cracked completly through. (marble) Dyed glue to match countertop and did not inform us it was cracked. I found while cleaning. Countertop shattered underneath. 2.) Installed cracked marble backsplash in our Masterbath. 3.) Kitchen sink undermount had to be reglued several times due to leakage around seal of sink and countertop. 4.) Countertop in Sisterinlaw Suite was not polished to shine, tried to convince me, this is how the product came.....They forgot I placed the same selection from same "bin" in my Master suite as in Sister in law suite. 5.) Install guys said they could put polish on sink while installed,, they said that they polished it...(even asking me to let it dry" However,,they could not have polished it without moving a small piece of paper that I placed in the corner prior to them coming to my house...They lied to me. 6.) The owner of company came to my house and said that he would replace my sister in law counter top but that he would have to "think" about absorbing cost of plumber to cut off sink...Because it was my fault I LET his install people install the countertop. I reminded mr. owner that I DID tell them NOT to intall it without checking with thier boss. This is when they assured me that they could polish on site. Very poor confidence in this company. I will add that they replaced damaged items........but it was like pulling teeth and they took so much of my time. I had to meet them at my house more than 10 times.....who wants that type of aggrevation.

We used Dernis for granite counter tops in our kitchen. Stephanie, our sales person, was very helpful and very professionsl. I'd refer them to anyone that wants a quality job!
