Care for mentally ill patients has digressed to being in this ungodly prison. 28-30 patients crammed into one room. Cameras are everywhere including in bedrooms which most patients are unaware of...so patients dress and undress while nurses and secretaries watch. The RNs HIDE in an isolated area just watching the streaming videos of the camera....no patient intervention. They have these huge black techs, usually former SEC football players watching every movement you make..yelling at you, dictating behavior..if you cross them you don't get dinner! You see a psychiatrist maybe 3 minutes a day. They make their own diagnosis, change your meds, keep you in the dark..And if you get upset you are threatened not just with leather restraints but with calling the police and being taken to jail. It is a horrific place. You don't get better. You learn to lie and say you are better so you can get the hell out of there.
Awful, awful place. Stay away if you can...and don't, just don't put family members in there!

The place was well secured with cameras pretty much everywhere, so we were protected from each other, ourselves and the staff. I was personally told where there was cameras We had 2 techs that you could ask for anything within reason, but you may have to be told no of course if things are not possible. The food is great.

A lot of people do complain and don't want to be there. The rules are for our safety and for legality purposes. You do need to ask the techs to see the nurse and the nurse is in a safe area for her protection.

My biggest mental problem is catastrifcation and paranoia where I find the worse problems that can happen and I found it safe. It is not confortable and there are a lot of patainsts but it's not a $5000 a night place either. They do the best with what they got. I don't want to go back, but if I have to I would rather go here than other places.

Worst hospital you can imagine.
Baboons run it and it's hard to find a white person on staff.
Took some of my valuable, rings, money and luggage and diamond braclet not to be seen again. They will not hesitate to call the Police if you don't abide by their ever changing schedule. NO Classes, No Therapist and No staff trained in Mental Healy. Prison would be an improvement over this God forsaken broken down and nasty facility. Name calling from staff.
No Professional works at this place. Just over grown Bullies who steal. I believe the corruption runs deep here. Admit yourself to prison before going here.

Doctors are and incompetent as the horrible Staff that overpopulates the entire facility. This is nothing short of a nasty and dirty prison. Baboons seem to make up the entirety of the staff. DO NOT SIGN YOURSELF IN HERE. They will react with violence and restraint. You cannot change your mind once inside. A virtual torture house of horrors.

This "HOOD" ran facility has NO supervision over the less than capable staff that I doubt have GED's and certainly NO Social Graces or ability to supervise themselves. There are NO Rules set in stone and change everyday. It is a Horrid reminder of the Asylums out of the primitive times of mental health. One side is as much like a prison as a prison could be while the other side is the one they show family wanting to put their loved ones in. Then they go to the prison unit. They billed my insurance 23,000 for 12 days of being locked up like a hamster in a cage. NO Therapy, Just locked in a day room all the day watching TV and Eating. If the Staff got angry, they would upset the day or worse. Something has to be said about the females running around there in tight and barely covered clothes. In front of those horrible Gangster wantabees and they are too friendly with them. They can't even manage to run a schedule so I doubt they restrain themselves with these little hussies prancing around looking down on everyone but the ones they should be. I should report them to my insurance company for what they billed for and tell them not to pay the bill. I didn't sign in for a prison stay but for Therapy. I just learned how to steal, how to act like garbage and treat other people with NO respect and how to avoid screaming maniacs.
This place is a PORTAL TO HELL AND BELIEVE ME, you don't get a second chance if you sign your name on the dottet line. Don't take any valuables in with you. YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO WEAR YOUR OWN CLOTHES AS THEY PROVIDE YOUA "PRISON' UNIFORM TO WEAR DURING YOUR TIME THERE AND ARE MADE OF PAPER AND GET MAD IF YOU ASK FOR A CLEAN PAIR. DON'T TAKE ANY JEWELRY IN, IT WON'T COME BACK TO YOU. NO, NO VALUABLES FOR THEY STEAL THEM.

This is an UNHOLY and UNGODLY demonic ran facility. No Therapists, No Doctor interaction at a therapeutic level and the staff, well, they scraped the bottom of the maggot barrel.
Thieves are employed here and will steal and scavage your personal items if they are worth anything they can sell.
The only therapeutic value this place offers is making you thankful for getting the heck out of it.

This Place is worse than any nightmare that you could have. The most unprofessional and inhumane treatment. I am convinced they drove through the HOOD and picked up the THUG on every corner and hired them for staff. They are both physically and mentally abusive and because the nature of their business treating mentally impaired people, they treat them however they want knowing that no one will listen to them if they complain. In the year of 2015, Barbaric places like this was thought to have closed decades ago. Suffering from Major Depression doesn't qualify me to have to be treated like a common criminal. This place should be closed and should not receive either State or Private Funding. Nazi Concentration Camps come to the forethought in thinking of my stay here.

This hospital is a crime against humanity. My 5 year old daughter has severe mental issues. She has threatened to kill me numerous times and beats my mom and me both. Her strength when she is in a rage is beyond words. The Director of Nursing, Natasha Welch, conned me into admitting her into "a partial hospitalization program" from 4 to 8 pm M-F. I was told she would get immediate medicine which she very desperately needed. Well after completing an assessment and Tanner telling me to lock up all my knives and sharp objects they "admitted her" AND insisted that she just needed ADHD medicine. I told the "psychiatrist" - some straight off the boat Indian Dr. Pattel, that she does not have ADHD. I was ignored and told if she was psychotic the medicine would make her worse and that then he would need to reconsider the Aderral. After 3 days I took her off the medicine. I told the worthless family therapist- Dr. Richard Flannigan- that my daughter was now inflicting more pain on me and my mom and he claimed he would talk with the psychiatrist because 'she must be suffering and she really needs medicine.' NEVER HAPPENED!!! I pulled my daughter out of their completely worthless PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION PROGRAM (PHP) for kids 5-8 yrs old AKA The Kiddies Program. Within 9 days of being there all of my daughter's symptoms worsened and she has NEVER been the same since. I am wondering if they somehow abused her. Today I get a bill for nearly $3000 AFTER INSURANCE. These ruthless, sick and twisted individuals NEVER gave her the MEDICINE she needed, somehow tortured her and now my daughter really wants me DEAD. PLEASE!!! DO NOT GO TO THESE INDIVIDUALS. NO ONE THERE IS A DOCTOR!!! I called on a Saturday after being beaten by my daughter and here is exactly what they told me "Why are you calling? It's Saturday. What do you want us to do? We don't have doctors at this mental hospital. We only have therapists. We can't give her any medicine! If you are having these problems go to the E.R." I asked what would the E.R. accomplish when my 5 year old is beating me? They said "She can go on a wait list to become an inpatient." I swear to God- that is what they told me. Here is a reality check- There is no INPATIENT FOR 5 YR OLDS. Richard Flanningan said she is BI-POLAR AND has OPPOSITIONAL DEFIANT DISORDER. So I say to him and his cronies- WHERE ARE MY DAUGHTER'S MEDS????? AND WHY WOULD I PAY YOU ONE CENT FOR FURTHER DESTROYING MY FAMILY???? I HOPE THEY ALL ROT IN HELL.

My husband was in this place for meth od and mental problems. The er doctor told my husband he had enough meth in his system to blow up the hearts of 3 people well this place never treated my husband for his addiction but gave him meds at night only for his mental which made him go to sleep 20 min after he took it. On his release day i was looking over the papers to find there nothing written for him to take until his next appt day which was 5 days later... They kept him all messed up inside then once out he had nothing which has made things 100 times worse then they was.

Bad. No privacy. No access to nurses. Treated like prisoners and treated end to body cavity searches. Too cold. Couldn't exchange clothes for warmer ones through guard. Had to sit in room with 35 other people 12 hrs a day. Not given proper medicine. Waken up all night. Medical doctor didn't exam me and I had to o to er 1st night with chest pain. I had pleurisy.

OMG. I'm in my third week of attendance and it is by far the best therapy I've received and I have been to many places. I have never encountered any of the issues listed below. Gloria is a fantastic therapist. I have never just sat and did nothing. She had us working things out from the time we started until we finished. This place is so much better than Ridgeview and I'm sorry, but if my kid dropped his crackers on the floor, I would have made him throw it away too. You know what by the sounds of some of your comments, which this white girl thinks are racist, it's obvious you needed their help. By far this is the best PHP I have ever attended!!!!! P.S. I wish lunches were a little better...

This Place has taken mental health and society back into the DARK ages of prehistoric rules of the Jungle. Speaking of which is completely ran by APES. They STEAL from vulnerable patients, use threats and power to intimidate to get away with the theft and further damage the mental health of patients. Having NO structured environment except locking them all together with NO therapy, NO REAL Doctors who care or spend time with patients. Diagnosis are all bogus and unless they are psychic, cannot be accurate. The THUGS both BLACK and WHITE that run this place are CRIMINALS and belong behind bars. Just being exposed to this place leaves one open to PTSD. Do not admit yourself here.

This place was a nightmare for my child, Not only did they not help him, they made it worse. He is 11 and they put him on Prozac 20 mg. They made his condition 50 x worse. He dropped some gram crackers on the ground one time for snack, and they made him throw his entire snack away. so I do not recommend this place for anyone.

simply cannot comprehend that in this day and time that places like this still exist. The entire staff is made up of THUGS and the other half are Whiggers who are also Thugs. Stealing and abusive to the patients and no attention is given to someone in crisis. Left to cry alone with consoling is not allowed from another patient. NO Groups, No therapeutic therapy just left alone all day in hospital gowns to watch TV as we are locked out of our rooms after breakfast until 9:00pm. Rules are always changing by the incompetent staff which is totally unprofessional. I don't have a clue as why they populated a staff that is more Ghetto than this. None of them look or act like they are educated and have NO compassion for people in crisis. Again, this place is a step back in time. No smoking privelages and little contact with visitors. Just horror that you can stay at home, lock you door and watch TV all day playing on the computer is more theaputic than going into this God Forsaken and miserable and NASTY corruption from the staff. They talk their language and expect everyone to have broken English and NO professional staff. Even the so called nurses are the same. I had rather be put under the Guillotine before going back to this "Prison" ran by The THUGS that they hired randomly in the BAD side of tracks. in Villa Rica. No humanity, No coping skills, No interaction with therapist and little from the so called Doctor who I also question his ability. Just a collection of Ghetto Thugs by stealing patients belongings from what I am sure to make up for the reduced pay. Really, imagine a team of aggressive and angry thugs with no professional quality at all. Tanner should be so ashamed for putting up such a Modern Day Hell that needs a complete overhaul of staff. If you are Suicidal, I say go ahead and do it if this your only source of so called help.

If this facility was operating under proper guide lines I wonder why it has Gastroenterology as it's specialty? I took my daughter to this no less than HELL RAN Facility and she was traumatized even more. I am taking her to another facility just to get help from being here. They have said she was traumatized. I could not check on her or call about her. The sorry and disgraceful people who are in charge took her jewelry, her wedding bands and other small rings she went in with that did not come home with her. I was angry and they called the police where I was basically asked to leave the premises and I have never been so disrespected as a human being so badly. I am very much against one united race running a facility they know nothing about. Thankfully my daughter is getting better at a facility unrelated to Tanner. Shame on Tanner for running such a Jungle.

Horrible place. The doctors refuse to listen and cut you off when you try to talk to them. They have a very rushed approach, seeming more set on making it through the patients in a certain amount of time, rather than spending time to get the proper diagnosis. One doctor may tell you one thing while another says something else, but they don't seem to want to talk to each other about the patient. Very frustrating and not at all helpful to the patient.

well i guess the food and living arangements is good but the staff if utterly getto and rude

This place is horrible. They do not care about the patients. Once you get better they ignore you and wont let you leave for 3 days. To be blunt its basically like a prison you cant see your family and they are rude to family members trying to find out about love ones, if you have a choice never go here
