I went to her on the word of her employee telling me that she knows and understands the needs for a child with Down Syndrome. We go there for the first time yesterday, she isn't very knowledgeable in DS at all. She asked me if my daughter was born with IT! (HER WORDS) She then asked me if I knew before I had her that she was going to have it, I told her yes at 13 weeks along and what did she do. snarled! My daughter was running a fever and started getting a rash and she was perplexed as to why. Did a throat culture/ but all the while telling me that she is the only one that takes the coverage we have etc. If you have an opinion she tries to down talk you? My husband and I will not be taking our daughter back to her. I wish I had seen this before we did this time!
