Established in 1953, North Alabama Fabricating Company, also known as NAFCO, is a full-service design company that fabricates structural steel for aggregates and material handling systems, energy industry equipment, building construction and client-specific steel projects. It handles various projects throughout the United States. Its sister company, DEAMCO, specializes in the design, manufacturing and installation of forest products handling equipment. North Alabama Fabricating Company operates a more than 200,000-square-foot facility in Cullman city in Alabama. It is certified by the American Welding Society and the American Institute of Steel Construction for conventional and complex steel building structures. The company offers industrial and commercial fabrication, engineering design, and field erection and maintenance services. North Alabama Fabricating Company has completed projects, such as Oak Creek Power Plant Expansion, Consol Energy Robinson Run Overland Conveyor and Sincor Coke and Sulfur Handling Facility.
