Fast,reliable,clean and professionals

I have taken my bike to this shop about 5 years for advice and repairs I have bought 3 bmx bikes there and they are amazing I take my mountain bike there also they know what there doing and they never lie to the customer. I took my bike there for a tune up and they said it will be done the next day I was fine with that then they call me 6 hours later saying it's done they close at 7 and they waited for me to get there at 7:15 this shop is great.!

V.C. was recommended by a frie...

V.C. was recommended by a friend. I'm 67 years old and just getting back into cycling. My old crossover bike and I needed some new parts so I got a new helmet and mirror and the bike got a new memory foam seat for my tender bottom.

The salesperson spent plenty of time explaining the best gear for me and didn't try to oversell me.

New bike someday? Tuneups? Gear? I'm heading north. I'm sure there are good bike shops closer, but when I find a good merchant I stick with them and the other reviews for Vancouver Cyclery verified my conclusion.

Best Place to Buy or Service a Bike!

This is absolutely the best bike shop in the area. We have purchased two new Trek's from this shop in the last five years, and every bike before that also came from this shop. They stand behind their product and have the best service and support. Definitely go here for your next bike purchase or service need!

Great shop to deal with, ignore below...

Vancouver Cyclery is a class act and I wouldn't hesitate to give them my business, the commenter below was probably a dick to the owner... nuff said. I put in a special order for a Specialized Rockhopper a couple weeks ago, was told it would be about a week and I'd be set to pick it up. (This was a Thursday evening) I received a call on Tuesday afternoon that the bike was ready and I could pick it up whenever. (fast for a special order aye?) On the first ride the indicator on the shifter fell off, an issue with the shifter that SRAM took care of immediately by shipping new shifters to the shop. (not just replacement indicator windows)Went in to get them changed (after being told I could pick it up the next day) and the guys threw them on for me while I was waiting.Fast forward to the first sunny day since I got the bike home (about 2 weeks) on the fist ride I picked up a sliver of glass or something and lost my back tire... bummer right? I had my Mrs. ride up ahead and she caught

Verbally abusive owner

I would steer clear of this store. I patiently waited a month for my bike's repair (which I was told would take 2 weeks at most) and politely called twice during that time to check on its status (I was supposed to receive a phone call when it was done). My third phone call resulted in the owner 1) speaking to me very rudely 2) not taking responsibility for not having repaired the bike yet and calling me like he said he would 2) still refusing to tell me when it would be done. So I had to just show up at the place and take my bike back as much as it was ready at the time. Their own receipt/claim ticket says on it "not responsible for items left after 30 days." It was day 30. Oh, and the icing on the cake? The owner actually calling me a rude name when I politely gave him "customer feedback" after I paid for the part of the work they did get done. I know my experience sounds unbelievable. So I've come to the conclusion the owner has a personality disorder or mental issues. Not

Helps all kinds! Great place!

I have a very expensive European stroller. When my tubeless wheel needed to be replaced the manufaturer wanted $80 to replace it. I called Vancouver Cyclery just to see if maybe they had an idea to fix it. The owner told me to bring it in and he will see what he could do. A few hours after we dropped it off he called to let us know that it was done. When I picked it up I was absolutely amazed at how well he had fixed it. He retrofited a new standard stem instead of the weird hard to use one they had put on. The fixed tire holds air waaayy better then the original "no tube" design. He did such a great job that I am taking the other tire that isn't broken (yet) in to have a tube put in today. Instead of paying $80 we only had to pay $10.81! Thank you Vancouver Cyclery.... You have made a new customer for life!

They go above and beyond!

I have had them do a few minor upgrades and repairs. They always knew what they were doing and had it done sooner than estimated. They are very cooperative and helpful. Honest and fair are the two words I would use to describe this company.

Great Service!

Vancouver Cyclery is amzing. I came there with my bike, something was wrong with it, the guy took it in and told me what was wrong with it in 5 minutes! They have a huge shop that has everything! Amazing customer service! Great prices!

Wow! I'm Impressed....

I brought my bike in for repair expecting that I would leave it for a few days. Approximately 15 minutes later, they sent me on my way free of charge. I might half expect that if I had purchased the bike from them, but I didn't. That's some good ole fashioned, locally owned, small town-feelin' customer service! I certainly haven't found anything close to that at the big "box" national chains. Needless to say, I will return for repairs, accessories, and even a new bike if the time comes and they continue with the excellent service. Especially considering the prices appeared to be in line with the national retailers. The bonus when we support independent businesses; they have the flexibility to keep customers happy... like me! =)(In fact, I was using a gift card at "big box" sporting goods store up the road about a month ago and was surprised to see bikes for sale. However, they wouldn't allow me take a bike for a test ride. They said I had to buy it first and try it at home after assemb
