McLoughlin Middle School provides learning opportunities to students in grades six through eight. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, Spanish, physical education, science, English, history, art, journalism and literature. It provides opportunities to participate in various athletic activities, including volleyball, football, basketball, swimming, wrestling and track. The school s Mac Center is designed to help new students feel at home before they begin their regular class schedules. Its media center has a collection of various books, magazines, newspapers, dictionaries, other reference materials and electronic resources. Based in Vancouver, Wash., McLoughlin Middle School is governed by the Vancouver School District.
