One star is appropriate, I would love to give 10 due to an exceptional live in caregiver. I would not recommend this facility due to the Manager/Owner, though. The Manager is unprofessional and incompetent to properly care for the residents. The lack of knowledge for this type of business and unprofessional management prompts 0 stars. When the owner is on duty, the residents are not as happy and left unattended. Example, a resident who is not able to walk was left unattended in the bathroom, left alone long enough to leave the bathroom go to their bedroom and fall while unattended , while the owner was on duty. Again, this resident is not able to walk on their own, this is a long time to be left unattended, let alone while in the bathroom. After incidents like this, the Manager/Owner was uncaring about it and just makes excuses and gave contradicting stories to cover up the negligent care. My advice, stay clear of this facility. This is reflected in this facilities turn over and fact that there are 2 of 6 residents remaining, all others have moved. Recent complaints have been filed and will be acceptable soon by the appropriate regulatory agencies. Good luck in searching for a proper facility and again stay clear of this facility.
