I'm sure you have heard people say, Oh, we will just plug in my iPod for an event? - The idea sounds simple, but there is so much more to making an event successful than just an iPod playlist. Let me expand on this... For instance: *What about the "dead air" when an iPod switches from one song to the next? I'll make sure that doesn't happen. *What is the mood of the crowd? Maybe you were expecting a hip-hop crowd, and a more 80s rock theme is in order *What if people ask for requests you weren't expecting? They always do & I offer real-time verbal, written, and text message requests. *Do you have a wireless microphone available to make announcements during the event? I have 2 that will be at your disposal. *Do you have someone who is comfortable MCing and being sure everyone is informed? *Do you need additional microphones or other event sound support? I do that too. I offer all of these services and have a great DJ voice & personality to boot. Twenty years experience, top end equipment with several packages available for as little at $49/hour for the basics (I do not charge for setup or teardown time). Add lights, mirror ball and light fog for a few bucks more. Great references available.
