The Van Wert County Sheriff's Office provides law enforcement services and maintains law and order in the county. It is administered by the government of Van Wert County in Ohio. The Van Wert County Sheriff's Office operates a K9 unit that assists in tracking suspects, searching buildings, detecting narcotics and recovering evidence. It administers the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E) program for students.
