BUYER BEWARE!!!



What a headache! My entire experience with this company has been horrid. When moving from San Francisco to Spain I contracted SDC to ship my goods. I was quoted a transit time of 5-12 weeks. My items were picked up on May 22nd and not delivered until October 26th, a total time of 22 weeks; making them almost 2.5 MONTHS late. Adding insult to injury my boyfriend had to help unload the delivery truck since they only sent one man for 22 boxes in the pouring rain. I’m sure it would have taken even longer for my things to arrive had I not posted my previous review on October 9th. Despite sending multiple emails asking for status updates and the location of my shipment I didn’t receive a response until I gave them a negative review here on Yelp! Most of my interactions with the company, especially Jack, have been very unprofessional. With him going so far as to say he wouldn’t be able to help/compensate me unless I took down/edited my review. Jack quite liked to tell me he was taking “responsibility” for the delay even though it wasn’t his fault it was the agent in Rotterdam, whom he hired. The fact of the matter is I contracted SDC to complete the move and they were the ones responsible to ensure my items arrived within the contracted timeframe, this did not happen. After many frustrating emails back and forth I was offered a measly $380 for my frustrations and in order to remove this review, that is around 10% of what I paid them for the move. I would much rather be able to post this review and hopefully save someone else from the headache that has been working with this company than to take their money.



DON’T USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT YOUR SHIPMENT IN A TIMELY MANNER!
